Child Care Centre Manager 134111: service leadership, not classroom work
Child Care Centre Manager plans, directs and coordinates an early childhood education and care service. The role is responsible for the service's educational program, staffing, enrolments, family relationships, regulatory compliance, resources and day-to-day operation.
Being an experienced educator, room leader or educational leader does not automatically establish centre-manager work. The evidence should show responsibility for the whole regulated service and distinguish the role from Early Childhood Teacher and Child Care Worker.

ACECQA applies occupation-specific qualification and employment standards
ACECQA is the designated assessing authority for Child Care Centre Manager. Its process checks whether the nominated occupation is relevant to both the applicant's qualification and post-qualification employment, using the current Child Care Centre Manager assessment standards.
Applicants should confirm whether their qualification is an ACECQA-approved diploma-level or higher education and care qualification and provide evidence of sufficient management employment in a regulated service. The migration assessment is separate from ACECQA's qualification-assessment functions under the National Quality Framework.
